CHOTI DHAMNI
A short history: - Chhoti Dhamni Mission was started in the year 1951 by late Mr. Paul Bhabor. He built a small hut on the hillock and started to educate the village children. In 1977 Parish Priest of Thandla, FR. Noronha built a small Chapal dedicated to Our Lady of Perpetual Help, with the help and support of Joe Miranda from Canada. Two additional rooms were built in 1995 by Fr. Casmir Khadiya.
In the year 2016 new school building was erected. In the year 2019 Fr. Basantraj Ekka was appointed as Priest in-charge and Principal of the school. The new Priest resident was built in the year 2020 by Bishop Basil Bhuria SVD. The Chapal was renovated in the year 2023. In the year 2024 the school building was extended up to 2nd floor by Fr. Basantraj Ekka. On 6th July, 2025 this mission was declared as Parish by Bishop Peter Kharadi. Fr. Basantraj Ekka was declared the Parish Priest of this Parish.
