JAORA
A short history: - St. Peter’s Parish, Jaora was established on 19th June 1994. On the feast day of St. Peter and Paul by late Bishop George M. Anathil, Bishop of Indore, with the vision of propagating Gospel values to the people of the place. Rev. Fr. Thomas Marattil was entrusted with the task of beginning the parish in collaboration with the CTC Sisters. Since then, the parish has achieved various milestones by rendering services to the people, especially in the field of education. Apart from imparting knowledge to the children, the parish also involves itself in pastoral and social activities with an aim of transmitting the wave of Christ’s love to the people of all faith.
